Global Assurance Quality - Learning & Education: NGA Project Leader Role description Would you love to create an impact on the development of thousands of PwC professionals globally? Do you enjoy influencing innovative responses to Network needs and challenges? As a project leader in Global Assurance Quality - L&E you get to work collaboratively with Network functional groups on the design, development and evaluation of technical training to support future audit practitioners. You will be pivotal in supporting the Curriculum Leader and curriculum team to successful achievement of strategic NGA priorities, balancing territory perspectives and current learner insights.
The main responsibilities of this role and the competencies required are described below.
Main responsibilities The successful candidate's responsibilities will include leading teams to:
- Determine content and propose and design innovative learning solutions to complex or new areas of Network focus, especially those impacted by business model changes, the move to data-driven audits, or new audit skills likely to arise from the NGA programme.
- Create materials for use in training suitable for a variety of roles within PwC, from new joiners to senior practitioners, including for example audit documentation and case facts to highlight specific issues and learning points.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Drafting communications and position papers for a variety of internal PwC stakeholder groups, regulatory submissions, and internal and external communications to support the successful implementation of training materials in the Network territories.
- Leading the process of scoping changes to the existing curricula materials, based on territory feedback, changes in standards, guidance, tools and technology (including the Next Generation Audit Platform and related business model changes), and proposing resulting projects and project teams.
Individual Requirements High performing Senior Manager (1 or 2 rated, or equivalent) with a passion for developing others, who is well rounded in all areas of the PwC Professional dimensions. They will have:
Experience:- A number of years' experience including both audit practice experience and experience creating training solutions for audit practitioners. Preferred experience: experience using audit tools such as Aura, Connect Suite, Halo for Journals, Count.

- Ability to confidently present, lead and facilitate discussions with senior stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead teams to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong coaching skills and a commitment to developing those that work for them.

Business Acumen:- A strong understanding of the PwC business model and how we serve a variety of clients.
- Demonstrating a continuous improvement mindset, problem solving skills, ability to analyse issues, and develop innovative solutions fit for global use.
Technical and Digital:
- Excellent written English and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience in L&E instructing, training design and development and/or a strong interest in L&E/adult learning.
- Desire to develop expertise in the area of learning.
- Strong audit technical skills, including the proficient use of Aura would be beneficial.
Global and Inclusive:- Ability to work with multicultural teams and sensitivity to cultural implications in learning design and implementation.
- Ability to propose solutions in situations where there are multiple conflicting viewpoints

Note: Less experience or less demonstrated ability in one or more of the above competencies can be compensated by particular strengths in other competencies. Each candidate will be reviewed in light of the combined competencies that they bring to the L&E team.
Work requirements The candidate will work as part of a globally dispersed team and:
- Can expect to work from London, UK as part of the Global Assurance Quality - L&E Team.
- Flexibility to participate on calls that may occur late or early in the day in order to accommodate stakeholders in other time zones.
- Can anticipate global travel ranging in duration from two days to three weeks.
The degree of travel has some flexibility and can vary depending on the assigned project responsibilities and the individual's personal circumstances.
